Baseball Recap: Gresham Comes Up Short

The Gresham Gophers didn't have quite enough to beat the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs on Friday and fell 3-1. The Gophers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gresham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Gresham will challenge Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Gophers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they will head out to square off against Woodburn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
