Softball Recap: Waldron Takes a Loss

Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Eminence Eels. That's two games in a row now that the Mohawks have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Abby Crouch was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Eminence, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Waldron will host Herron at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mohawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Achaeans have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Eminence, they will take on Monrovia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
