Baseball Recap: Herron Achaeans vs. Tindley Tigers
Herron came into Saturday's matchup having lost 17 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Tindley Tigers on Saturday as the Herron Achaeans made off with a 21-5 win. Herron's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The team relied heavily on Keane Ricchiuto, who went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Colvin Meek was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
On Tindley's side, JaiNell Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Gary, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
