Baseball Recap: Fowler Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Fowler proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles 7-5. The Grizzlies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Brock True made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. True was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.

True wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Joe Salvo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Fowler pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Fowler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-2 victory against Monte Vista on the 22nd. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Holly on the 22nd.
