Cardozo came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against Coolidge, but Eric Turner wouldn't allow it. The Colts blew past the Clerks 80-58 on Wednesday thanks in part to Turner, who dropped a triple-double with 21 points, 12 boards, and 11 assists. Coolidge is undefeated when Turner posts ten or more assists, but 2-3 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Hooks, who went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points and eight rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Coolidge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points over those games. As for Cardozo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Coolidge will be home for the holidays to greet Anacostia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cardozo, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thurgood Marshall Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
