Football Recap: Paradise Bobcats vs. East Nicolaus Spartans
Paradise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 25-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Nicolaus Spartans. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

East Nicolaus was led to victory by Mason Taylor and Logan Cleary. Taylor rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns, while Cleary rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. That's the most rushing yards Cleary has posted since back in November of 2023.
Paradise's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Nicolaus, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Paradise will be playing in front of their home fans against Colusa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colusa is coming into the matchup with four straight losses on the road, meaning Paradise will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for East Nicolaus, they and Winters are set to duel on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 863 yards in their previous games.
