It's playoff time, and Cross Roads had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Como-Pickton Eagles with a sharp 18-5 win on Friday. The Bobcats are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 18 straight.

Cross Roads' victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 28-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Como-Pickton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-9.

Cross Roads will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
