Soccer Recap: Wawasee Takes a Loss

Wawasee scored the most goals they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the West Noble Chargers, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Wawasee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while West Noble are ranked 84th).

Wawasee's goal came courtesy of Beckham Denton, which was the first he's scored this season.

Wawasee has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Mishawaka on the 2nd. As for West Noble, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against Bremen on the 2nd.
