Baseball Recap: Kearsley Comes Up Short

Kearsley lost against Flushing on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hornets took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kearsley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Tipton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was Tipton's first of the season.

Kearsley now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Flushing, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kearsley will venture away from home to challenge Owosso at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flushing, they will challenge St. Francis at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
