Basketball Recap: Fremont-Mills Takes a Loss

If Fremont-Mills was riding high fresh off their 80-46 takedown of Essex last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fremont-Mills Knights were outmatched by the Bedford Bulldogs and fell 78-40. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Fremont-Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bedford, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont-Mills will host Stanton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bedford, they will square off against Griswold at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bedford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Griswold likes a good challenge.
