Meanwhile, Highland waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Thunderbolts at home to the tune of 46-8. Considering the Huskies have won four contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
John Bingley was his usual excellent self, throwing for 171 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. A healthy portion of that aerial production (83 yards to be exact) went to Shane Sverak Jr., who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Highland wouldn't let Manual keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Brogan Palmer was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
Estes Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Highland, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
