Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Fenwick vs. Archbishop Williams

The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Archbishop Williams Bishops at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Fenwick's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Bishop Fenwick and St. Mary's finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Williams didn't have quite enough to beat Bishop Feehan on Thursday and fell 4-3. While losing is never fun, Archbishop Williams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Bishop Feehan are ranked sixth).

Bishop Fenwick's draw gives them a new season record of 3-1-3. As for Archbishop Williams, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

Everything went Bishop Fenwick's way against Archbishop Williams in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Bishop Fenwick made off with a 5-0 win. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bishops turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
