Basketball Recap: Ritchie County Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

If St. Marys wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ritchie County, they should've done a better job of containing Isaac Hodges. The Ritchie County Rebels walked away with a 70-61 victory over the St. Marys Blue Devils on Thursday thanks in part to Hodges, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 15 rebounds. His evening made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Rhett Johnson was another key player, putting up six points and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Ritchie County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for St. Marys, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Ritchie County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-53 defeat against Belpre on the 25th. St. Marys has also already played their next game, a 61-54 win against Frontier on the 25th.
