Football Recap: Long Creek Takes a Loss

The Long Creek Dragons lost 41-20 to the Central Catholic Buttons on Friday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joseph Carreon was nothing short of spectacular for Central Catholic: he rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and one score.

Long Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Central Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Long Creek will head out on the road to square off against Freeman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Golden Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Central Catholic, they will be playing at home against St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
