Westville came out on top against Schlarman on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Tigers never let the Hilltoppers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Westville and bumps their season record up to 19-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Schlarman, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westville will square off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
