After a string of four wins, Dunlap's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Canton Little Giants by a score of 46-44. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Little Giants earlier this season, when they won 54-32.

Canton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allison Wheeler, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Spencer, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Dunlap's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Canton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunlap will welcome Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Dunlap surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canton, they will host Pekin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
