Volleyball Recap: Cape Fear's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Cape Fear had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Scotland Fighting Scots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-16, 25-15.

Tabitha Newlin paced Cape Fear's offense, picking up 25 kills. Newlin got some help from Sophia Wilson and her 25 assists. Newlin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Cape Fear's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Scotland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-10.

Looking ahead, Cape Fear will head out on the road to face off against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scotland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
