Basketball Recap: Foxborough Takes a Loss

Foxborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sharon Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Eagles are ranked 215th).

Foxborough's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sharon, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foxborough has already played their next contest (against North Attleborough), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sharon has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Franklin.
