Soccer Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-3 to the North Jackson Chiefs.

Jamari Cooper and Timothy Gordon scored all three of New Hope's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Jackson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, New Hope is taking a road trip to take on Cherokee County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Jackson, they will take on Mortimer Jordan in a tournament on Friday.
