Basketball Recap: Hancock County Comes Up Short

Hancock County lost to Meade County back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets took a hard 57-39 fall against the Green Waves.

Hancock County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Meade County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock County will face off against Cloverport at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets will be up against the Aces' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Meade County, they will take on South Oldham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
