Basketball Recap: Dirigo Has No Trouble Against Carrabec

With a playoff win on the line, Dirigo rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-26 win over the Carrabec Cobras. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 47-38 victory the Cobras walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Dirigo found their leader in sophomore Abigail Luczynski, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Ni?o, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Dirigo and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Carrabec, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Dirigo will face off against Madison at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dirigo surely won't give up without a fight. Carrabec does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
