Baseball Recap: Porter Comes Up Short

Porter was the 5-4 winner over Magnolia when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Porter and Magnolia will both be playing Deer Park the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Deer at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will host them at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
