Baseball Recap: Maysville Takes a Loss

Maysville was the 4-1 winner over Meadowbrook when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts on Wednesday.

Maysville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KOLTON GIFFORD, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Maysville has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Meadowbrook, their record is now 7-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maysville will host Crooksville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meadowbrook, they will challenge John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Colts are facing the Little Muskies at the right time seeing as the Little Muskies are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
