For the first time in his career, Rhys Lugo scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 22 yards and one score as Teaneck fell to Pascack Valley 29-26. We rated that as his best performance since August 28th, when he threw for 159 yards and three TDs on only 11 passes.

Looking ahead, Lugo and Teaneck will venture away from home to square off against Pascack Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lugo had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in September of 2024 13-12.
