Softball Recap: Chase Trojans vs. Hendersonville Bearcats

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chase). Everything went their way against the Hendersonville Bearcats on Tuesday as the Chase Trojans made off with a 22-8 victory. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Myra Beaver made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Beaver was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 5-for-5 with six RBI, four runs, and three doubles. Those five hits gave her a new career-high.
