Soccer Recap: Mendota vs. Aurora Central Catholic
With a playoff game on the line, Mendota rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers a 2-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Mendota's road trip will continue as they head out to face Normal University at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Normal University knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Mendota likes a good challenge.
