Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bear River walked away with it. They skirted past the Ridgeline Riverhawks 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won eight matches in a row.

Kate Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Luci Roche was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marley Tisdol, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Bear River's record is now 29-2. As for Ridgeline, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-14.

As of now, neither Bear River nor the Riverhawks have any future games scheduled.
