College Park entered their tilt with Pittsburg on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They managed a 74-69 victory over the Pittsburg Pirates. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 84-80 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

College Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Steven Barnett out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mathys Joseph, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds.

Despite the loss, Pittsburg still got an impressive performance from Jermaine Earnest, who posted 21 points. Earnest's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jaedyn Graves was another key player, putting up ten points.

College Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Pittsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

College Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 85-58 defeat against Ygnacio Valley on the 4th. Pittsburg has also already played their next contest, a 66-56 win against Freedom on the 4th.
