Softball Recap: West Wendover Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for West Wendover's offense. They came up short against the Battle Mountain Longhorns on Monday, falling 16-0. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

West Wendover's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Battle Mountain, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Wendover is set to square off against their familiar foe Silver Stage at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Battle Mountain will challenge rival Pershing County at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
