Abbie Danchus of Missouri selected as MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of Week

St. Dominic standout led team to six victories last week.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. –
Abbie Danchus of
St. Dominic (O'Fallon, Mo.) was named MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week. Schlader is being recognized for her outstanding performance during the week of Sept. 6-12.
Danchus keyed the Crusaders to a 6-1 last week, hitting .750 (18-for-24) with nine doubles, a home run and 19 RBI. She posted six multi-hit and multi-RBI games in addition to recording at least one double in six games. Danchus notched four-hit outings versus Cor Jesu Academy, St. Francis Borgia and Pacific. In the latter contest, the junior catcher doubled twice, homered, scored three times and drove in six runs. Danchus added three two-baggers and four RBI against Cor Jesu. She also left the yard and registered three RBI versus Warrenton.
