Basketball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Pieper

Pieper came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 54-41 win over the Boerne Greyhounds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-51 back in December of 2024.

Pieper got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Dixon out in front who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Dixon has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Arianna Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

Pieper smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive games.
