Basketball Recap: Jackson Jaguars vs. Pace Academy Knights
Jackson won the last time they faced Pace Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jackson Jaguars walked away with a 65-54 victory over the Pace Academy Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Jackson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cayden Cornish, who went 8 of 14 en route to 22 points. Cornish is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Journey Conley, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Wrigley, who went 6 of 15 to rack up 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. That's the most blocks Wrigley has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Wrigley, who had seven points and eight boards.
Jackson's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Pace Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.
Coming up, Jackson will face off against Mays at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mays has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Pace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
