Soccer Recap: Irvin Takes a Loss

Irvin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Austin Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-1 back in February.

Irvin's loss dropped their record down to 3-16-1. As for Austin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Coming up, Irvin will take on Clint at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin, they will face off against Harmony Science Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
