Football Recap: Draughn Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bunker Hill

Draughn had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 46-6 defeat at the hands of the Bunker Hill Bears. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Bears are ranked 96th).

Draughn has already played their next matchup, a 68-0 loss against Freedom on the 29th. As for Bunker Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 39-20 defeat against St. Stephens on the 29th.
