Volleyball Recap: Parkview Christian Comes Up Short

Parkview Christian lost against Brownell Talbot back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6.

Olivia Grogan was a one-woman wrecking crew For Brownell Talbot. as she had 12 aces and eight digs. Those 12 aces gave Grogan a new career-high. Nya Ping also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Parkview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Brownell Talbot, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Parkview Christian will host Dorchester at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots are facing the Longhorns at the right time seeing as the Longhorns are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Brownell Talbot, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Heartland Christian on the 9th.
