Softball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Comes Up Short

If Santa Fe Christian was riding high fresh off their 8-2 takedown of San Diego on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Santa Fe Christian lost 9-0 to Tri-City Christian on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tri-City Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Santa Fe Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Tri-City Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Santa Fe Christian nor Tri-City Christian have any future games scheduled.
