Basketball Recap: UMS-Wright Prep Comes Up Short

UMS-Wright Prep fought the good fight in their overtime contest against McGill-Toolen on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Yellowjackets. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

UMS-Wright Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for McGill-Toolen, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13 record this season.

UMS-Wright Prep will welcome Faith Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McGill-Toolen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
