Football Recap: Bloom Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Bloom's offense. They were beaten by the Rich Township Raptors 42-0 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blazing Trojan in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost six in a row.

Rich Township's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ortez Johnson led the charge by rushing for 72 yards and a pair of scores. Christian McCollum was another key passer, throwing for 155 yards and two touchdowns.

Bloom's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rich Township, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.
