Northside Christian had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Lexi Baker did her part to make it 17 on Tuesday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over Granville Christian Academy for which the team can thank Baker, who had 20 assists and three digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Northside Christian took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7.

Northside Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Granville Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
