Football Game Preview: Grace Grizzlies vs. Prairie Pirates + How To Watch

The Grace Grizzlies will challenge the Prairie Pirates at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Grace is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Butte County, who was ranked 21st at the time (Grace was ranked fourth). The Grizzlies blew past the Pirates 57-12 two weeks ago. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Grace didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gavin Draper and Chase Smith.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Prairie had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 50-44 victory over Valley on Friday.

Prairie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.6 points over those games. As for Grace, their record now sits at 8-1.

Grace beat Prairie 48-38 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
