Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ryland Rush and Elijah Badejo Lead Nampa to Victory + How To Watch

Nampa saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 59-46 victory over the West Side Pirates.

Leading Nampa to victory were Elijah Badejo and Ryland Rush. Badejo shot 60% from the field en route to 15 points and six boards, while Rush went 6-for-8 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds. Dominick Almaraz was another key player, putting up ten points.

Nampa was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Side only posted six.

Despite the loss, West Side still got an impressive performance from Brycen Thomsen, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points and six boards.

The win got Nampa back to even at 2-2. As for West Side, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Nampa and The Ambrose School will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Side, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Melba at 3:30 a.m. on Friday.
