Ella Wampler posted a new career-low in walks on Wednesday. She made a splash, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She was up against Cosby and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in March. Wampler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Wampler and Morristown-Hamblen East will face off against Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last time Wampler took on the Patriots, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and only one walk).
