Softball Recap: First Coast Comes Up Short

The First Coast Buccaneers lost 9-3 to the Buchholz Bobcats on Thursday.

First Coast saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adilyn Crawford, who went 2-for-3 with two runs. Ashley Schirmann was another, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

First Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Buchholz, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, First Coast will welcome Fernandina Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Buchholz, they will head out on the road to take on Land O' Lakes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
