Cass Tech had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They secured a 53-49 W over the North Farmington Raiders. The 53-point effort marked the Technicians' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Cass Tech's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for North Farmington, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cass Tech will challenge Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Farmington, they will face off against Avondale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Avondale will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something North Farmington surely won't give up without a fight.
