Basketball Recap: Valley Head Comes Up Short

Valley Head was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 56-44 loss to the Crossville Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-36 back in November of 2024.

Valley Head's record now sits at 1-13. As for Crossville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Valley Head Tigers challenge the Woodville Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crossville, they will welcome Boaz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
