Luther entered their tilt with Del City on Thursday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Del City Eagles with a sharp 12-2 win. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Esteban C was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Kyle C was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Luther's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Del City, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luther will head out to take on McLoud at 4:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Del City, they will challenge Noble at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
