Soccer Game Preview: Gregory-Portland vs. Rouse

The Gregory-Portland Wildcats will take on the Rouse Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Gregory-Portland fell victim to Vista Ridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers.

Meanwhile, Rouse kept a clean sheet against Midland Legacy on Friday. Everything went their way against the Rebels as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

They hit Midland Legacy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Shelby Wilson, JJ Arellano, and Lilly Arellano.

Rouse's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gregory-Portland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Gregory-Portland came up short against Rouse in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Gregory-Portland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
