Teddy Schroeder tossed eight innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with two or fewer walks. This year, he has an ERA of 4.03 over 24.1 innings pitched.

Schroeder's strong effort led Niles West over Niles North and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves are a perfect 10-0 against the Vikings going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
