Softball Recap: Lipscomb Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Lipscomb Academy won against Rockvale last Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Pope John Paul II Knights a 7-0 shutout. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Lipscomb Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pope John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Lipscomb Academy will square off against Battle Ground Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
