Volleyball Game Preview: James Logan Colts vs. American Eagles

The James Logan Colts will head out to challenge the American Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

James Logan won the last time they faced Mission San Jose, and Austin Milton did his part to make sure it happened again. James Logan walked away with a 3-1 victory over Mission San Jose on Tuesday which was due in part to Milton, who had 19 digs and two assists. That's the most digs he has posted over his last eight matchups.

James Logan was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, American was able to grind out a solid win over Washington on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

While American might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Washington scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23.

The victory got James Logan back to even at 5-5. As for American, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

James Logan skirted past American 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does James Logan have another victory up their sleeve, or will American turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
